Week 1 ending on a high, week 2 starting on a low

WEEK ONE is DONE, small party going on in my head. 20.4 miles, ending in a 5.5 mile run which felt awesome best run in ages.

Its also been an expensive week - I know I was running in winter last year so whats happened to all my winter running gear....one lovely neoprene long sleeved jacket, full length leggings and new socks (I don't know what I do with running socks my husband thinks my feet eat them they get holes uber quickly) later I am all kitted out again. I don't know about anyone else but I love TKmax for phys kit, especially their long running tops being 5'11 has its problems.



Oh it was also time for a fitbit upgrade.



Anyways week 2 has started with 6.1 miles down, terrible, terrible run not sure I could even count it as a run but its done. Week 2 has started. Here goes nothing.



 Lemon tea, pjs and a mag nice relax...

Day 1

Day 1

This is shocking!! I signed up to Trail Running Magazines run 1000 miles challenge (Details in the link). Now bare in mind I only logged 203 miles on Strava last year...so being generous I did a maxim of 300 miles including the gym. So this should be interesting.

Please join me to laugh at me etc. over 2017 it should be a right laugh.

I have started as I suppose I should on the 1st January 5.1 miles done, wooooooooooop, only 994.9 miles to go.



At least it didn't rain till the last mile.
